Times of the School Day

At Old Ford Primary Academy we start at 8.55am and school finishes at 3.30pm. Registration is from 8.55am – 9.05am.

Assemblies are at 10.35am.

Morning break is from 10.50am – 11.05am for all children.

Lunchtime starts for Nursery and Reception at 12pm until 1.15pm. Years 1 & 2 have lunch from 12.15pm – 1.15pm. Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 have lunch from 12.30pm -1.30pm.

Afternoon break – Years 1 and 2 have an afternoon break from 2.15pm – 2.30pm, Nursery and Reception children have breaks which are quite flexible.

Home time – school finishes at 3.30pm for all pupils.

Getting to and from school – walking is definitely the best option! We have a bicycle hut if you prefer to cycle to school. If you travel by car please park with respect to other road users and our neighbours, do not park on the yellow lines outside the school.

Total time per week including breaks: 32 hours 55 minutes.
