SEU 2

At Old Ford Primary Academy, our Specialist Education Units (SEU 1 and SEU 2) provide a nurturing, inclusive environment for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Through personalised learning, adaptive teaching and specialist support, we help every child develop academically, socially and emotionally.

Working closely with families and external professionals, such as Phoenix Outreach, we use the Assess–Plan–Do–Review cycle to ensure each pupil receives the support they need to thrive, while remaining an active and valued member of our wider school community.

Our aim is for every pupil in SEU 1 and SEU 2 to develop the skills, confidence and independence they need to flourish both within school and beyond. We celebrate every achievement, recognising that success looks different for every child.

SEU 2 caters to Language partners and Conversation partners using the SCERTS communication stages.
