Our Year 4 cricket team went to the Tower Hamlets Cricket Competition yesterday and played against 17 teams.
They gave it their all. They got through the group stage, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and then won the final with a big score!
We are so proud of them, not just for winning, but for showing great sportsmanship. Our team was the first to shake hands with the other team and say “well done” to everyone, including the referees. One ref even said, “I never get that kind of thank you from pupils—so thank you!”
They have now qualified for the national finals in September!!
