Random Mix – School newspaper
Some of our talented pupils (Shelvon 6B, Melissa 6R, Riocca 6G, Majia 6G, Jamelia 6G, Olivia 6G, Ahmed 6G, Nafisah 6G and Yusrah 6G), work hard every week to create our very own school newspaper called the ‘random mix’. The pupils are in charge of creating their own articles, doing their own research and carrying out interviews. They put all their hard work together to create the Random Mix newspaper. They sell the newspaper across the school to pupils, staff and families for 10p and all the money goes towards the resources for the newspaper(like prizes for the competitions). YEAR 5 RESIDENTIAL
Well done to 5B and 5R who have both had a brilliant time in Suffolk. They have taken part in shelter building in Rendlesham Forest, birdwatching in Minsmere Nature Reserve and have visited the Suffolk Punch Horse Trust.
The bus driver who drove the pupils around last week said that in his 10 years of driving school groups around, Old Ford have been the best behaved group by far! Well done everybody!

Can you help Old Ford Primary to win with our recycling video?
Recently we entered a ‘recycling competition‘ where we had to submit a 60 second commercial to encourage people to recycle. A group of year 6 girls did an amazing job and we got through to the last four. All four finalists were uploaded to YouTube and the one with the most views/likes will win. The winning commercial will be professionally recorded/shot and used on advertising campaigns.

The pupils would be really grateful if you would ‘like’ and ‘share’ their video so that we can win!
