Egyptian Remix Ringtones Downloads

As part of last term’s topic on the Egyptians, a number of pupils from Year 4 composed and produced their very own Egyptian-style ringtones with visiting music technology specialist, Joe Allen. They used Apple GarageBand to mix samples of traditional Egyptian instruments with contemporary beats and sound effects to create their masterpieces.

“The Lion King” – A ROARING SUCCESS!

Nursery and Reception classes at Old Ford stepped into the limelight after months of hard work and preparation with music teacher Joe and the foundation stage staff to perform their adaptation of “The Lion King”.
Before a packed hall of parents, carers, governors, Kevin Jones and Amanda Phillips, the children sang, acted and danced with huge confidence and self belief. Everybody was moved by the story and wowed by the beautiful costumes and masks – all handmade by the children.
The show has become such a hit that years 3, 4, 5 and 6 have requested extra performances next half term! Well done everybody.”
